Coffee & Code: Archive and Analyze Tweets with TAGS

Coffee & Code: Archive and Analyze Tweets with TAGS In-Person

Join Carli Spina (Head Librarian, Assessment and Outreach, O'Neill Library) to learn about TAGS, a tool that allows you to harvest tweets, archive them in a Google Sheet, and then analyze them. We will look at setting up the archiving process as well as the related visualization tool that highlights connections between Twitter users and tweets. This tool is perfect for projects that involve analyzing tweet content or Twitter use and can also be useful in archiving tweets related to specific events and hashtags.

Pre-req: You will need a Twitter account and you will need to get a Twitter API key using your Twitter account (we will go over how to do this in the session. Bring your laptop to the session.

Please Note: Session will be held in the CTE Innovation Lab, O'Neill Rm. 246A.
