Mapping with Tableau In-Person

Mapping data is one of the many ways Tableau helps people see the information in relevant, insightful ways to make better decisions. In this workshop, participants will learn how to analyze their data geographically, how to plot the data on a map in Tableau, and what types of maps can be created in Tableau.

Tech requirements: Internet access, Tableau Public. Please bring your own laptop, or use one of the desktops in the studio. We will help you install the Tableau software (free) for some hands-on practice. If you are not a BC community member, please let us know in advance so we can set up a workstation for you.
